Fantastic night at the community centre last night. Great music (loved the old school reggae), great atmosphere - totally chilled and mellow, and great to catch up with lovely old friends. Well done organisers and thanks.
I think I mentioned to every cricketer there that I am up for a game this season if the cowboys come down to Somerset or Dorset. I promise not to call anyone a flipping count.

In preparation for our Mixed Tournament Fun Day coming up on Sunday may 6th we'd like to invite everyone to come support our first team against Novers - hard core berds from hartcliffe, its a rescheduled match from a snowed off game and they will be livid about that, it will be a fierce game! its also our last match of the season. our second team will be on hand to explain the game so if your planning to enter the mixed tournament and dont know the rules; this is a good way to get a feel of it.

'Stay Human is inspired by the life of the Italian reporter and peace activist Vittorio Arrigoni, who was murdered in the Gaza Strip in April 2011 by a fundamentalist terrorist group. Arrigoni was one of the few foreign journalists present in Gaza during the Israeli military offensive Operation Cast Lead, December 2008 to January 2009. He published a book, Restiamo umani (Stay Human), a collection of his reportage from this period. Arrigoni coined the term ‘stay human’ as a call to the world not to let our humanity be diminished by allowing human rights abuses to go unchallenged. The album was funded with the support of friends and fans via the Pledge Music website. The campaign raised over £300 for the Greenbelt Festival, where I premiered the songs from the record live in August 2011. Through this album I hope to raise awareness of Vittorio Arrigoni's life and mission; a beautiful man whose integrity and humanity has moved me deeply.

Stay Human is released on 208 Records on 15th April 2012.

Spoke to Eddie and Tim and they said they have folded.
Bad show i think. Its not their team to fold but our clubs.
Its the oldest team we have.
They should have called a meeting and we decided how to play it.
Anyhow it seems it might be salvagable as the league are
very friendly toward us.

hi guys and gals from wayne and punky

still alive despite scorchio temperatures and close encounter with a snake
a mixed bag of cowfolk plus wonderful guests from around the european circuit saw the cowfolk enter the first alternative world cup in south america hosted by club che guevara of jesus maria .
the womens team played admirably in heat and with no little skill and remained unbeaten, in fact winning both ( or was it 3 ) games scoring some cracking goals despite their high alcohol intake - congratulations and did the club proud

we were the only team to enter a mixed team in the comp plus were the oldest and in the near 40 degree heat struggled against youthful , speedy , skilful opponents who play together every week. coming last in the group finally managed to hold Pelada de Esquerda from rio to a draw - alas despite the best efforts of wayne the cat kelly we lost on pens ( in spanish cat is el gato but in these parts it means prostitute - is there a new job in the offing for wayne)

i must thank everybody who represented the cowfolk and the world xi for playing and partying in true cowfolk style and many new freinds have been made ( infact wayne and i are off to chile soon) and much respct to danilo ( los autonomos) and monika and crew ( club el che ) for all the the hard work that was put in
incidentally los autonomos won so as northern champs cowboys must play them in japan to see who is world club champs.
