It is that time of year when supermarkets are reminding us that Christmas is coming. So I thank Tescos for nudging me into thinking about our CACK theatre trip.

I would like to suggest that we go to THE TOBACCO FACTORY in Southville to see PINOCCHIO ON SUNDAY 12TH DECEMBER 2010 AT 2.30PM.

If we can book before 1st November we will: a] get tickets; and b] get a really good deal.

I am happy to make a group booking for you if you can let me know by TUESDAY OCTOBER 26TH 7PM.

To give you an idea of the “early bird ” deal they are offering- it would be £30 for a family of 4 [2 adults,2 children or 1 adult ,3 children] For further prices please look at the Tobacco Factory website.

CaCKK Football

The Cowboys and Cowgirls Kids Klub are starting up kids football sessions after Easter at the St. Pauls St. Paul’s Community Sports Academy, Newfoundland Road, St. Paul’s Bristol BS2 9NH. We will be running two 45 minute sessions on a Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 4:45 for 6 – 9 year olds , and 4:45 to 5:30 for 10 to 12 year olds.

we want the main focus of the sessions to simply be the kids getting a kick out of playing the game, being part of a team, and developing skills. The sessions will be open to boys and girls of any ability, from the whole club. the cost of the sessions is £3 per child per session. If you’re interested or need any more information please get in contact with either Marcus or Paul C.

CACKK Pantomime

Sat 19th December 2pm Bath Theatre Royal Sleeping Beauty traditional pantomime.

Paul C has booked 20 tickets and 18 have gone. He expects to have to book another 20. Reserve your tickets asap. The next 20 will be (if they have not run out) £10/£14 each, adults and children the same. Last year we took 44 and fun was had by all… except 2 grumpy teenagers who were dragged along by their parents hanging on to the good old days.
